Ms. Boyd's practice concentrates in the area of domestic relations. She is a member of the bar in Pennsylvania, Maryland and New Jersey. Additionally, Ms. Boyd is a member of the Montgomery, Philadelphia and American Bar Associations and is a member of the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court for family law. Ms. Boyd was elected to serve a three-year term (2007-2010) to the Council for the Family Law Section for the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Ms. Boyd advocates in various areas of family law, including, but not limited to, divorce, pre-nuptial and post-divorce agreements, child custody and support, equitable distribution, alimony, adoptions, protection from abuse, guardianships, and juvenile law.

Ms. Boyd has dedicated much of her professional career to preserving the rights of children and their families. Prior to joining High Swartz, Roberts and Seidel, LLP, Ms. Boyd spent two and years practicing with Mattioni, Ltd. in Philadelphia as a general practitioner where she concentrated on domestic relations. Ms. Boyd also clerked for two years for the Honorable Stuart R. Berger in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City in Maryland.

Additionally, Ms. Boyd served as the Interim Director of Schoolhouse Legal Services for Advocates for Children and Youth in Baltimore, Maryland, a program committed to providing legal services for children who had been expelled, suspended or, for other reasons, had lost instruction time from school. Services typically involved negotiations with the schools and parents, and attending administrative hearings, and identifying special needs students who required services.
