Pennsylvania "Super Lawyers" by Philadelphia Magazine and Law and Politics Magazine

In June 2007, four partners with High Swartz LLP - Mary Cushing Doherty, Gilbert P. High, Jr., Lois A. Nafziger, and Thomas D. Rees - were named Pennsylvania "Super Lawyers" by Philadelphia Magazine and Law and Politics Magazine. Law and Politics Magazine selects "Super Lawyers" from a poll distributed to all lawyers in Pennsylvania. Only 5% of the lawyers in Pennsylvania are selected as Super Lawyers by Law and Politics. In the same poll, Ms. Doherty was also named as one of the top 50 female lawyers in Pennsylvania.

The four High Swartz partners selected as "Super Lawyers" concentrate their practices in diverse areas. Ms. Doherty practices Family Law and is the 2006-2007 president of the Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a past Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Family Law Section. Mr. High has devoted his career to Municipal Law and has served as chairman of the Municipal Law and Judiciary committees of the Montgomery Bar Association. Ms. Nafziger concentrates her practice in Elder Law and is a member of The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. Mr. Rees concentrates his practice in Employment Law and has written and lectured on a variety of employment topics for national, state and local publications.
