Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Delaware Mechanical Engineering Department

Alan W. Flenner, an attorney with High Swartz LLP in Norristown, has been named a Distinguished Alumnus of the University of Delaware Mechanical Engineering Department. He will be honored at the Mechanical Engineering Business & Career Conference on April 28, 2006 in Newark, Delaware. Delaware Mechanical Engineering distinguished alumni are selected for recognition based on several criteria, including career achievement, impact, uniqueness, and interest. Flenner focuses his law practice on matters associated with the built environment and concentrates in the areas of municipal, environmental, and land use law. He is also a registered professional engineer and Commander in the Navy Reserve. He is the Commanding Officer of Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 21 based in Lakehurst, New Jersey.
