Realistic expectations, hands-on monitoring

When representing a client in a family law matter, our attorneys help the client focus on realistic goals and conservation of assets. From the first interview through the final proceedings and enforcement, the attorneys prepare thoroughly and monitor the case intensely, insisting the opposition respond promptly and securing a resolution for our client in a timely manner.

Often, it is in our client's best interests to pursue their goals through alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes such as negotiations, mediation and arbitration. We are also able to assist with the collaborative law process. We are skilled trial lawyers who prepare a case thoroughly for trial or settlement, ready to litigate if trial is in the best interests of our client.

Our family law practice

Attorneys in our family law practice focus exclusively on domestic relations, including divorce, equitable distribution, spousal support/alimony, child support and custody; prenuptial, marital and separation agreements; tax considerations for divorce, spousal support and income tax returns; grandparent custody, adoption and paternity; protection from abuse; family law mediation, arbitration and collaborative law. They also assist families with elder mediation, guardianships and juvenile law.
